- Profile information — phone number, bio, skills, location (ZIP code), gender, age, and profile photo submitted for verification
- Verification data — your name approval status and photo approval status, reviewed manually by our administrators
- Job postings — job titles, descriptions, pay rates, locations, and details you post
- Messages — chat messages between job posters and workers, and direct messages sent to you by GoDayWork administrators
- Ratings and reviews — feedback you leave for other users
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, IP address, and device/browser information
- Deleted account records — if your account is removed by an administrator, your email address is retained in a blocklist to prevent re-registration

Payment Information

- Payment type — whether a job is posted as a flat rate or per-hour rate
- Pay amount — the dollar amount stated in a job listing (maximum $200 per job)
- Stripe Connect account ID — for workers who set up a payout account to receive payments
- Payment status — whether a payment is authorized, held in escrow, or released
By using payment features, you also agree to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these cases:
- Other users — your display name (first name and last initial only, e.g. "Jane S."), profile, and job posts are visible to other GoDayWork users. Your full legal name, phone number, and email are never shown publicly.
- Service providers — we use Resend for email delivery, Railway for hosting, and Stripe for payment processing
- Law enforcement — we will share full identity records (name, phone, photo, IP address, account activity) with law enforcement when legally required, including valid court orders, subpoenas, or situations involving immediate safety threats
Data Storage
Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Railway (railway.app). We retain your data as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and data by contacting us.
Cookies
GoDayWork uses localStorage in your browser to keep you logged in and save your preferences. We also use cookies through Google AdSense for advertising purposes. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work properly.
Children's Privacy
